True Twilight fans know that Jacob Black plays a big role in the upcoming New Moon movie. When Edward leaves Bella, Jacob becomes Bella's best friend. She spends almost all of her time besides attending school and working with Jacob. Taylor Lautner plays the role of Jacob Black. He really had his work cut out for him to beef up for the New Moon movie. He worked very hard, and it shows. Taylor Lautner put on 30lbs of muscle for this movie. He has definitely transformed from a boy into a hunk. The second New Moon Trailer introduces us to Jacob Black.
